M. Fang is an experienced Senior Associate with a demonstrated history of working in the international trade and development industry. With 15+ years of experience in the banking sector, he is skilled in portfolio management and financial services, and has developed Montreal first set of private banking services targeted at customers from China and Asia. M. Fang is passionate about community causes, and has dedicated his time and energy to the Montreal Chinese Hospital and the McGill University Health Center Foundation. After 5 years in the Quebec Premier’s Office, 3 years as a
senior advisor in a Montreal-based Government relations firm and almost 2 years as an advisor to the Minister of Communications and Culture, Mr. Marc‐André Deschênes joined TESLA PR in 2017. Mr. Marc‐André Deschênes successfully served as the PR lead strategist for Quebec on:
• multiples over a billion CA$ acquisitions of Canadian gems from foreign multinational

In the government, Marc-André worked on the creation of communications strategies for public-private partnerships. He knows how the Quebec legislative procedure works as he served as the PR strategist on the team responsible for drafting and adopting a bill regarding the accountability and management of Crown corporations. These experiences have given him the ability to understand government systems and processes and anticipate, analyze and overcome strategic issues with a global perspective.

As a member of the Leader’s Tour team in the 2012 provincial election campaign, he was responsible for managing relationships with members of the
electronic and television media in the Quebec National Assembly press gallery. He was also part of the team that conducted a
strategic media analysis for the Premier of Quebec, leading to the 2008 Quebec election win.

Marc‐André is very active in the community and has an extensive and diverse network of contacts.

Mr. Olivier Brault is an entrepreneur fighting climate change, leading the new startup project Gamotech, which at first helps municipalities reduce their carbon emissions and then will expand the expertise to other fields such as forestry, agriculture, mining, construction, etc.

He started his intrapreneur career by helping reduce the costs of diagnosing infectious diseases in emerging markets at Adaltis Inc from 2003 to 2008. Then he developed solutions to reduce airline carbon emissions by experimenting with lighter materials at Norduyn Aviation based in Shanghai. In the last 10 years, he was General Manager – Asia pacific for Soprema Canada, working on improving the energy efficiency of buildings.

With more than 20 years of experience in international business development by creating entities and building organizations all over the world from scratch for small, medium and large businesses, Mr. Brault has cultivated a strong entrepreneurial spirit and has extensive knowledge in materials, construction and green building. Meanwhile, he has established a large worldwide network of friends, resources, knowledge and skills. Proficient in five languages, he is equally at ease in North America, in Europe as well as in Asia.

Ms. Mejia has over 15 years of experience as a manager. She currently manages Arrivie, which provides support and guidance to Quebec companies that welcome foreign workers, in particular to promote their integration. In the past, she directed the Mexican Trade Commission in Montreal, was at the forefront of the negotiations that allowed Bombardier Aerospace to set up its facility in Mexico. She was a director of MEQ, the Quebec Manufacturers and Exporters association, as well as of Développement économique de l’Agglomération de Longueuil.

Ms. Mejia is President of the Board of Directors of the Quebec-Latin America Chamber of Commerce (QUÉtAL) and in January 2021, she was named Ambassador of Diversity by Concertation Montréal.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, a degree in International Business from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Laval University.

Johnson Joseph is the CEO of Cubeler and the President and CEO of its parent organization, Tenet. 

Johnson has over eight years of experience in the financial services industry, with previous experience as an advisor with Investors Group, one of Canada’s largest mutual fund and asset management companies. 

He holds an MBA in Information Technology from HEC Montreal and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Texas Tech University. 

President of Chapdelaine-Consultants, Chair of the Board of Directors of Caisse Desjardins de L’Île-des-Sœurs–Verdun, Mr. Chapdelaine is an entrepreneurship specialist and an entrepreneurial coach. He teaches entrepreneurship at HEC Montréal.

He sits on the Board of Directors of Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, Groupe Technologies Desjardins, Capital Desjardins and Desjardins Trust. Mr. Chapdelaine is a member of the Cooperation and Network Liaison Commission, the Desjardins Group Retirement Committee and its Investment Committee. He also represents the Federation’s Board of Directors on the Youth Advisory Board.

The Honorable David Heurtel was born in Montréal, where he graduated from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, prior to completing an LL.B. at Université de Montréal in 1993. He joined the Québec Bar the following year. From 1994 to 1998, he was an attorney with the Montréal law firm Lavery. After practicing law for several years, he studied sales and marketing at HEC Montréal business school and subsequently studied communications at the Kellogg School of Management in Illinois. In 2011, he also took advanced courses at the École des sciences de la gestion of Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

The Honorable David Heurtel was first elected to the Québec National Assembly in December 2013 as MNA for Viau, a riding in the east part of the Island of Montréal. He was re-elected in the April 2014 general elections and appointed Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and the Fight against Climate Change on April 23, 2014. On October 11, 2017, he was appointed Minister of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusiveness.
